BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
ABOUT THE ROLE
OASIS STAGING + DESIGN is looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Consultant to help grow our presence in the real estate and home design industries. This role focuses on generating leads, building relationships with realtors and industry professionals, and promoting our home staging and interior design services through strategic outreach and presentations.
The ideal candidate is confident in networking, delivering engaging presentations, and driving new business opportunities that convert into staging and design projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation & Outreach: Develop relationships with real estate agents, brokers, developers, and industry professionals through networking, cold calls, email campaigns, and in-person meetings.
Presentations & Events: Schedule and conduct presentations at real estate offices, networking events, and industry gatherings to educate potential clients on the benefits of home staging and design.
Client Consultations: Meet with prospective clients to assess their staging and design needs, providing tailored solutions that showcase the value of our services.
Sales & Follow-ups: Manage leads from initial contact to contract signing, ensuring timely follow-ups and strategic client engagement.
Market Awareness: Stay up to date with real estate market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices to refine sales strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with the staging and design team to align client expectations with service execution.
CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and contracts using CRM tools.
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Available to work 3-4 days per week.
Monday-Friday, occasional weekends.
Able to work within 8am-4pm timeframe.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in sales, business development, or client relations, preferably in real estate, home staging, or interior design.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable with both in-person and remote outreach.
Ability to travel locally for meetings, presentations, and networking events.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of home staging and interior design concepts (a plus but not required).
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
This is a client-facing, sales-driven role focused on generating leads and closing deals.
You will be expected to travel locally for in-person meetings, networking events, and real estate office presentations.
A strong understanding of home staging and interior design is helpful but not required—your main goal is to sell and educate clients on the value of our services.
The role requires proactive outreach, including cold calling, email marketing, and industry networking.
You must be comfortable with presentations and public speaking, as this role involves delivering engaging sales pitches to realtors, developers, and industry professionals.
We start every employee by having an initial trial period of one month. At the end of the trial period, we will assess if we are a good fit for each other.
