LEAD STAGER

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Lead Stager to join our team. As a Lead Stager, you will oversee the staging process, ensuring that every home is staged to perfection. You will lead a team of staging assistants and work closely with real estate agents, homeowners, and photographers to create stunning spaces that appeal to potential buyers.

The ideal candidate is a flexible and self-motivated team player who takes initiative and always leads with customer service at the forefront of their mind. They should be able to solve problems independently, possess excellent leadership and communication skills, and have a keen eye for design and passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the staging team, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects.

  • Work with real estate agents and homeowners to understand their requirements and preferences, and create custom staging plans accordingly.

  • Conduct site visits to assess the home's layout, lighting, and architecture, and determine the best furniture and accessory placement for optimal flow and functionality.

  • Lead the staging process, directing the team on furniture and accessory placement, and ensuring that the staging aligns with the client's preferences and the home's style.

  • Supervise the selection and purchase of furniture and accessories, ensuring that they are of high quality and in line with the client's budget and preferences.

  • Oversee the installation and removal of all staging items, ensuring that the process is efficient, professional, and leaves no damage to the home.

  • Maintain inventory of all staging items, ensuring that they are clean, organized, and in good condition.

  • Manage the staging warehouse, ensuring that it is clean, organized, and secure at all times.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, attending workshops and seminars as needed to improve skills and stay current on best practices.

  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, including photographs and videos of staged homes, to promote the company's services.

  • Ensure that all staging projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.


AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Available to work 3-5 days per week.

  • Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday’s.

  • Able to work within 8am-4pm timeframe.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 18 years or older.

  • 1+ years of experience in home staging.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Flexibility and resourcefulness.

  • Customer and team-focused.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid driver’s license in the state of Hawaii.

  • Clean driving record.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.


THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

  • Our days are at times fast paced and we need partners that embrace that aspect of the business. We are looking for someone who is quick on their feet.

  • Our warehouse is in Honolulu but project locations range all over the island (with certain exceptions). Being comfortable driving from location to location is a MUST.

  • Hours vary, depending on what projects are happening and some weekend work may be required. We tend to be busy in spring and summer, but less busy in the fall and winter months.

  • We start every employee by having an initial trial period of one month. At the end of the trial period, we will assess if we are a good fit for each other.
